Let’s get off the internet. Let’s live. We don’t have to keep getting farther and farther away from one another because our capitalist, corporate government gives us the perfect ways to do so.
Facebook Chat On Your Desktop

A few hours ago today, Facebook launch their newest addition to their Chat service - being able to chat using any XMPP/Jabber capable clients (desktop or web). This is great news for Facebook users and partially to XMPP/Jabber supporters. Why ‘partially’?
Google Dropping IE6 Support

Three days ago (January 30th), The Google Apps Team sent an email to all Google Apps users about the impending phasing out of support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as well as other browsers that are not supported by their own manufacturers.
This is big news and Google’s move adds a bigger force to the IE6 No More movement which pushes that all websites (personal to corporate sites) must drop MSIE6 support if we even want to see newer web technologies being used by everyone.
