Jollibee Foods Corporation (PSE: JFC) is a fast-food restaurant that started out with one brand: Jollibee. Later, they acquired (in alphabetical order) Chowking, Delifrance, Greenwich Pizza, Manong Pepe Karinderia, and Red Ribbon.
Their restaurant acquisitions did not stop there. Overseas, Jollibee bought out the Chinese Taipei Chun Shui Tang tea house, and Lao Dong restaurant, and the Chinese fast-food chain restaurants Hongzhuangyuan, and Yonghe Dawang. Today, they are embracing the Internet and social media space. As of this writing, “Jollibee” is trending on Twitter.

For a reason, Jollibee was captured by the camera in the background in the latest episode of the hit TV series Glee. Filipino fans of Glee did not miss it, one-by-one, they went online and tweeted about it. But according to Jollibee via Inquirer.net’s Twitter, it was not intentional on Jollibee’s part to show up on Glee.
Still, this helped JFC in the social media space and their international marketing efforts. I think this is a good time to share with you the official Twitter and Facebook accounts of JFC’s restaurants. (as of Wednesday, 19th of May 2010)

Did I mention that their online delivery system will allow us to cross-order from their different brands via any of their brand-specific online delivery websites? You can read more about it from Janette Toral’s announcement: Chowking, Jollibee, Greenwich, Red Ribbon to Launch Integrated E-Commerce Fast Food Chain Site and Delivery Service.
Keep it up Jollibee! And once again I am going to repeat myself: go tap foursquare!!
